You have NO reason to complain, James. I'm sorry, but this is the most (possible unintentionally) but obviously selfish remark I have ever heard from you! You sit there, you type this article, you MENTION how you have competed for twenty months in this contest and that you have been nominated FIVE times for Bait of the Month!! Then, you go on to say that you have SIX nods for Best Author + one of those wins back in November. I guess what I'm trying to say is... why are you so curious??? You ARE a great writer to many. Hell, you shouldn't talk about it like its a bad thing!!! LISTEN!! --- I have been in this contest for NINETEEN months, one less than you. I have written fewer baits of course (only about 18) so what *I* am trying to get at is this.... I have been nominated for Two Bait of the Months and Two Best Authors... including this month!!! WHY ARE YOU ASKING THAT KIND OF QUESTION WHEN YOU and I repeat YOU KEEP ON WRITING GOOD THINGS!!!! Don't write great baits, get acclaimed, get nominated so much, and then wonder why others consider your name as, like you said in your article --- "bring to awards recognition"!!! Just, be quiet about it, you're great!!! Nothing else should matter! Later.....
That was a very narcissist (spelling?) post, James. I mean, it is obvious that you expected answers in the style of "Because you're the best author" blah blah blah.
Atleast you won bait of the month James, haha. Just kidding.
But I think when they say "and his name alone", I think it's because your one of the more respected and creative/original authors ever on this site and that's always recognized.
I've been making movies since I was 11 years old when I made a 5 hour long movie on my camcorder called "The Rise and Fall of Apocolypse". I haven't stopped since.
